Really Tiger????

Really, it's about to be 2010 and "cheating" celebs are still sloppy enough to be leaving voicemail messages. I don't care how good you think your sex game is, when there is cash money being offered for a story, the story leaks. Stop with the video tapes, photos, voicemail messages, text messages and all that. People are gunning to get you or at least to get a check so Tiger you got to do better OR don't cheat at all, I'm just sayin.... AND It's cheaper to keep her, I'm just sayin...

Bread Shoes...REALLY?

Yeah this ranks right up there in the top 10 dumb ideas of 2009. Bread shoes, really? They could be great promotional item at lunch for a shoe company, but please don't let me catch any of you "sane" people wearing this dumb ass shit!!! Sadly they are just cut out a loaf of bread and we are actually talking about them..."la la oh ga ga"

DRS-Gangsta Lean (Classic)

This song is a classic from back in the day. Even if you didn't lose any "homies" you was pouring drinks out on the side of the road and singing along. FLASHBACK!

Listen: Gravity by Sara Bareilles

Not really many words to describe this song, it speaks for itself. Even the live performance is breath taking. What an amazing talent Sara Bareilles is! Every once in a while this song pops up on a movie or something and I heard it again last night on Vampire Diaries, one of my new favorite shows. Check out the live performance below & pay attention to the lyrics. Support her and go buy this on itunes. Good Music still exists.

Miss California stays; who cares

If for nothing else Mr. Donald Trump runs with the opportunity to stay in the press like Al Sharpton capitalizes on the chance to march for an injustice.  We just had the painful agony of sitting through 3 hour season finale of Celebrity Apprentice and now he monopolizes the press just to tell us that someone we don't care about gets to continue being someone we don't care about. I mean really, since she didn't win Ms. America, do we keep if she stayed or not as Ms. California? Well maybe you do, but I certainly don't. I cant actually tell you the names of any of the women representing their individual state, instead the country.

"Carrie will remain Miss California," the Donald announced at a press conference this morning, adding that "we are in the 21st century." Translation: Donald really meant "I really enjoyed seeing those photos of you and encourage any of the other states winners who would like to share their pictures I will be more than happy to review them and you don't have to worry about losing your job."

Let me be positive, I am glad you got to keep your job Ms. CaliforniaCarrie Prejean, especially in this economy. Best of luck to you in the position.

Spread the word on Drake!

So I have recently been listening to what I am assuming is "unofficial" tracks from an artist named Drake. Instantly I am a fan. I had no clue about him, what he has done, who he is signed to, what he looks like, who roles with, nothing and frankly I didn't care. I just liked his music. I have since found some information on him,  as he is best known for playing Jimmy Brooks, the physically disabled character on Degrassi: The Next Generation. but feel free to read up on him here. "While working on his mixtapes, Drake has worked with Lil WayneTrey SongzRobin Thicke and Little Brother. Drake has also written for Jazz Cartier, Bishop Brigante, Lil WayneKeshia Chante and Dr. Dre," according to his Wikipedia. He is currently working on his debut album,Thank Me Later. He has that confident swagger that I think successful artist should have, but sadly not all of them do. Or it's usually the ones with far less talent. Check him out if you get a chance, he's got some joints on you tube. Check out his track Best I Ever Had on his myspace. It was spinning on the radio today, I think it's banging.

Fix the Economy, Make Weed Legal???

I am not sure weather to laugh, cry or consider it as an option. I went to the local store by wear I live last night and like with everywhere else, they were complaining about the economy. Everyone seemed to have their opinion about how to fix it, but then the youngest of the bunch (18-21), jumps in to say he has the solution. Since he was sporting his version of "hood attire" from his local "wannabe" store in suburbia, it took me a minute to get my mind prepared for what he was about to say. I thought, "you need to pay attention, he may have a really good idea and today's youth is tomorrows leaders" so I listened attentively. Then he blurts, "the way to fix this economy is to legalize weed, things would be better, more jobs for the people that need to grow it and sell it, etc..."  Completely shocked and utterly disappointed, before I could even give it some real thought I said "Perfect and then we could get weed trucks like the ice cream trucks and deliver it to neighbor hoods at certain times of the day playing Snoop Dog over the PA system." Although I was be totally sarcastic, he though it was a great idea, make it easily accessible. So now i am sitting here thinking, could this be an idea. I have always been against making any drugs legal, but who knows, maybe I am just not as liberal as I thought. A lot of people really we should legalize weed. What do you think?

Sidebar: If thats the ideas rolling around in the heads of our youth, I am still a little concerned.

Corn Ball Alert!

A friend of mine and I have this random List we call the "Corn Balls." This is a list of celebrities who simply try to hard and end up always being corny. They can be very talented, good looking, and even entertaining, but for some reason they just end up coming across as a Corn Ball. Now its time to start sharing these individual ALERTS to the rest of you so you not bamboozled into thinking they are cool. Next up: Ray J. Grown women fighting over Ray J, maybe, MAYBE NOT.
And yet we watch the Corn Ball...

Keri Hilson has finally Arrived!!!

It's taken about 100 years, but Keri Hilson has finally dropped her debut album. Entitled, "In A Perfect World," which could be said about the final result of her album, provides you with just enough excitement for you to want to hear another album out of her. Like most things now a days the HYPE or in her case "SWAG" was far more exciting than the actual product. Still, being very excited that the album is finally here and enjoy the music for what it is. A few amazing stand out tracks are Make Love, Alienated, Slow Dance, Tell Him The Truth, Knock You Down and OUR FAVORITE Where Did He Go. Check out a full album review at Groovevolt.com
