Martin Luther King Jr: A man of many words

Everyone could learn from a few of these quotes.

Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr Day by celebrating his teachings

"It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important."

"Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal."

"Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity."

"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step."

"The hottest place in Hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict."

"The Negro needs the white man to free him from his fears. The white man needs the Negro to free him from his guilt."

"The time is always right to do what is right."

"War is a poor chisel to carve out tomorrow."

"I want to be the white man's brother, not his brother-in-law."

"If a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for, he isn't fit to live."

"In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."

"Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into friend."

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Preach Prez Preach. Or Continue to let Malcolm do it. He did it best.
I'm concerned about how many people will actually read the quotes, understand, and utilize. Reflection is important to all of us, and after my second glass of chilled Chardonnay, I have been reflecting like a mug. I am going to be the first person to say that I am going to reflect, react, repeat (at least that's my plan right now). And honor the life that I should be leading thanks to the greatness of MLK and all the historical figures that paved the way. YUP... :-)
